Participant information: please read before agreeing to do the survey
You are invited to take part in a survey about what being well and well-being means to those affected by prostate cancer.
The survey is part of a larger study and has been reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing of the University of Wolverhampton.
The survey was co-designed by
- a researcher with prostate cancer (diagnosed with locally advanced, high-risk prostate cancer and received treatment in 2013 and in 2019 and is currently waiting to find out whether further treatment is needed)
- a researcher (who is the spouse of someone with prostate cancer)
Patients with prostate cancer, clinicians involved in looking after patients with prostate cancer and people working in prostate cancer charities have also inputted into the design of the survey
The survey aims to help healthcare professionals better understand the perspective of patients and partners/families/carer about being well and well-being and what questions patients and those close to them would like to be asked about their quality of life.
